BREAKING THE CODE OF SILENCE
WE ARE SURVIVORS. WE ARE STRONG.
Many of us are survivors who have found the strength to use our voice to break away from the shame and the trauma that was never ours to carry. We are ordinary people who have suffered through our continued silence.
Now we are reaching out to all other survivors and those who have not been abused, to come together as a united voice for change. We have to be the voice for the children so they no longer have to suffer in silence.
Tracey Thompson
Tracey has been working with Keith for some 4 years to impact on the lives of all children.
She has brought together over one hundred elite athletes, singers and others to become AI avatars, speaking into the lives of children every morning at school so that suicide no longer becomes an option in life.

Tracey was born in Brisbane and traces her Indigenous history to the Dunghutti tribe at Kempsey in Northern New South Wales.
The rugby league player has sporting success in her blood as her uncle is ex-professional boxer Hector Thompson.
Tracey captained the first ever Indigenous Women’s All Star Team in 2010 and has been voted one of the top six female players ever to pull on a jersey. She has represented Australia in two Rugby League World Cups and played for Queensland from 1999 – 2008.

Tracey advocates for Indigenous people and her personal ambition is to improve the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on all levels of social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

All I ever wanted to do was help my Countrymen !

I believe its time we stood up for our children and grandchildren, who have no voice!
I'm very passionate about this , as it happened to me as a child and I had no one to talk too !
No one to reach out too , in my small community!
I was made feel ashamed for even speaking up: We can't have that anymore !

Rachelle Maatouk
A victim of 6 years of weekly child sexual abuse, only to face it head on and not only become a survivor, but a true fighter and activist to help educate, empower and protect our communities.
With a passion for human movement, as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer, Rachelle has used her passion in health to help teach others to heal their trauma and guide many through success of using unconventional exercise to work towards freeing themselves from the pain of their past.

I come from a family of mother and father stepfather and a couple of stepmothers.
From these unions we have 17 children, 5 who died at birth or soon after, 2 who have not disclosed and 10 who were sexually abused by strangers, friends of family, relatives and siblings.
You think this unusual, I'd say no its an indicator of how big this issue is within community, because in the various roles I have held throughout my work life confirmed fir me the enormity of this unspoken damage to our Kids.
While we may speak about it in secret yarn times or raise it when we drunk or under the influence, the abuse is very very rarely reported.
This lack of dealing with the sexual abuse or reporting it has resulted in more perpetrators to perpetrate the young and unsuspecting innocent.
Child Sexual Abuse is real, covering it up is just as real.
